How to get brushes on Photoshop

For Macs:

brushOpen up the “applications folder”.

brush Find the “photoshop folder” and click on it.

brushOnce the folder is open there should be another folder that says “presets”, click on it.

brushInside there is the “brushes” folder, open it.

brushDrag and drop the downloaded brushes into the brushes folder.

brushThe next time photoshop is opened the brushes should appear.

For Windows:
brushOpen up “my computer” and select the hard drive (usually called “c”)

brushLocate “program files” and open it.

brushFind the “photoshop folder”. (If you have more than one of Adobe’s programs, you will find this folder in another folder called “Adobe”)

brushOpen the photoshop folder and find “presets”, open it.

brushThere should be a folder with the name “brushes”, open it.

brushDrag and drop the downloaded brushes into this folder. ( note: in some computers there is another folder in the “brushes” folder called “photoshop only”. If you have this folder you want to drag and drop your brush files in here instead. If you place them in the “brushes” folder they may not show up in the program)

brushThe next time the program is opened the brushes will be installed.
